- Bob Davies was basket-
- ballΓÇÖs first ballhandling
- wizard. He brought
- colorful new moves to
- the game and was the first
- to regularly use the behind-the-back dribble.
-
- When he was a high school freshman, in
- Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Bob was only 5' 5"
- tall. To make up for his size, he developed
- the fancy moves that would earn him the
- nickname the ΓÇ£Harrisburg Houdini," after
- the famous magician.
-
- By the time he began playing basketball at
- Seton Hall University (in New Jersey),
- Bob was a solid 6' tall. His creative ball-
- handling and passing skills helped
- make him a two-time All-America.
